Flatonia Landmark preservation Society Night-lights
These wonderful night-lights depict some of Flatonia’s rich history. All proceeds from your purchase will go toward the preservation of historic landmarks and commercial architecture throughout Fayette County. You can purchase the lights at the Olle Hotel, Floy Farm Designs, the Train Museum, Flatonia Chamber of Commerce, Indian Paintbrush and the E.A.Arnim Museum. $25 includes Tax. Old Water Tower
This is Flatonia’s Old Water Tower at dawn. Because of the design and shape it is popularly called the ‘Tin Man’. This structure was in danger of demolition and in the fight to preserve this historic landmark the Flatonia Landmark Preservation Society was born. This photo was taken and donated by Jan Lahodny. |
